The Pearl Shards Darbuka is from our snowy Ivory Pearl collection.
The Pearl Shards Darbuka is one of our most striking and bold designs; this is due, of course, to the black and white designs which you will struggle to find anywhere else on the Darbuka market. There is an eye-catching contrast between the dark and light but the white Mother of Pearl is a soft cream which gives the design a warm finish.
At Gawharet El Fan we focus on providing only the best Darbukas, with the best sound quality and the most stunning designs.
As to be expected with all handmade instruments, there may be some minor variations in design, slight imperfections on the body and some small scratches on the Darbuka head. This will not affect the quality of the sound in any way. All items are new. Darbukas should be played regularly for the first few weeks until the head sets fully, and the true beauty of the sound starts to shine through.

Typical timescales to change Darbuka skins are: - Every 6 months for a Darbuka played more than an hour a day (e.g. at a professional level) - Every 12-15 months for a standard Darbuka player (e.g. a casual player who plays for leisure) |

Will I be able to perform advanced techniques like the Mahbous and Rizz on my Darbuka? Yes, our Darbukas are designed and manufactured by people who love the Darbuka and play regularly. Each Darbuka is tuned and tested to ensure that it can product all of the sounds that a Darbuka player could want to produce. |
